I'm retired military. Calm, purposeful, kind, considerate, loyal. ...That's my default. My dark side is reserved to defend those I care about. I'm ok in my own space and am fine alone. That being said, drives to the beach or the mountains are quite lacking without that tranquility shared with someone who also appreciates those moments. A quiet early cup of coffee, unspoken words sharing that closeness, a warm cuddle watching an old movie, singing at the top of our voice driving along a winding mountain road, hot campfire oatmeal, and shared culinary events in the kitchen, are those best shared with laughter, deep calming sighs and unspoken contentment.
