About Me
.My name isn’t the easiest to pronounce- Ilsiyar. I’m from a place with a fascinating history- it was once part of Volga Bulgaria, not to be confused with modern Bulgaria :)
I’m quite a homebody, although definitely not a hermit. I like a calm, unhurried life and usually prefer quiet places and a small circle of people to noisy crowds and a busy social calendar. I’m not big on spontaneity- I definitely feel more comfortable when we plan things ahead of time.
I do enjoy travelling and travel from time to time. I like discovering how differently people live, and seeing places that I’ve previously only known through books, films or videos.
In summer, I enjoy hiking and long walks in the woods; in winter, I go cross-country skiing through the forest. Sometimes I take out my telescope and observe the night sky. I’m also learning English and enjoy documentaries, especially those that teach me something new. Love cats and definitely prefer sharing my home with a cat rather than a dog.
