About Me
Well...I am in the Autumn of my life now. It has been a hard road to here. I thought I would have someone to share that with, but I don't. The older I get the more I just want to be home and away from other people. Loneliness visits me from time to time, but overall, I am comfortably content these days. I live in a haunted house that was built in the 1890s, so its seen three separate centuries in its lifetime. A family made this home in the early 1890s and its passed through many generations since that time. I love my old house and I've made it comfortable in a way that suits me.
I am not a supporter of the God of Abraham and the path I follow is really a patchwork I do not care to elaborate on. I do not do drama, so if you have some of that please stay away from me. My teenage son lives with me and attends high school. He is like me - quiet, and enjoys his solitude. My musical taste is quite aberrant to the norm I suppose. I do not like most music with vocals in it and like soft, ambient music more than anything else. My favourite places to be are in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest (Kansas), in an evergreen forest surrounded by mountains or somewhere secluded with no people around at the ocean.
As you can see, I am not a people person. I only work about 10 days a month because as I have gotten older I have realized that there is one thing more important than family, friends, popularity, working, money, relationships, etc. and that is...time. My time is valuable, so I do not waste it on trivialities.
