Then go to the home page where you’ll see Messages and “Inbox”. If you would like to write back, click “Reply”, write and click “Send Message”.
All communications with other members can stay onsite if you prefer; you do not have to give out personal contact information until you feel ready to do so.
Any member can “Say Hello” to indicate interest or send a message. Both go to your RoseBrides.com Inbox and we notify you at your personal email address. All member-to-member contacts stay onsite so you never have to give out personal information until you choose to do so.
If you are not interested in someone who has contacted you, we recommend sending a polite "no thank you" message or just ignoring the message you received. If you like you can block further messages from a member by opening a message from him/her and clicking “Block Sender”. The member will be put on your Blocked list.
A “Hello” message is a compliment – it means that the sender likes your profile but is too shy or busy to send an email message. When you receive one, look at the sender’s profile to decide if you’d like to respond; if not, you can ignore it. Note: you will not be able to respond with a “Hello” to a member who has sent you one, you must send a message.

It could be that your photos are not clear enough or there aren’t enough of them, your profile is not interesting enough, you need to write more personal messages instead of just saying hello, or you need to login more frequently. Here are a few suggestions to consider:
Post more (or new) photos
More photos will give people a better sense of you and increase the comfort level for contacting you. Besides showing what you look like, your photos should communicate your personality and things you love about your life. Specifically – think fun, happy, warm, interesting... Photos that show you skiing, hiking, painting, traveling or playing with your dog. The first photo – your portrait photo – should be a headshot. Just be sure your photos are clear and recent.
Make your profile information more descriptive
The more descriptive your essay is, the easier it is to attract people who are right for you. The key is to provide details and specific examples. Go beyond just adjectives like nice, smart, funny, successful and attractive and include examples of what makes you different, interesting and fun to be with. Write like you talk – pretend you're hanging out with your best friends and saying what's on your mind.
Write personal introductory emails
A first email that says "Hey, you look cute, check out my profile" is short and sweet but easily dismissed. When initiating contact ask yourself, "Why am I writing to this person?" and then say why. Flattery, noting things you have in common, and showing a sense of humor will draw people to you.
Check your RoseBrides.com inbox daily
