About Me
I can be a shy person, but with the right person I open up more. I am introspective, inquisitive and curious. I like to be active with biking, hiking, snowboarding. I am passionate about traveling and like to learn about other cultures. English is my native language, but I speak Spanish at an intermediate level. I used to speak French, but haven't practiced it in many years so I have forgotten much of what I had learned. I do understand some Portuguese, but don't really speak any. I am interested in trying to improve my fluency in Spanish over time. In my free time, I also love to watch movies/series. I sometimes listen to audiobooks that are suspense/thriller or self-development. I think we are never done growing, no matter what age we are.

I'd like to meet someone who is open to talk about anything and everything. Someone who is interested in learning about me as a person and has the ability to initiate and maintain conversations. I do not want a proactive partner, not a passive one. Someone who is able to work through conflicts together as a team. I value someone who has self-awareness. That which only comes through deep self-reflection and work. Communication is critical in a relationship, whether it's long distance or not.
The joining of two distinct worlds in a relationship can sometimes be difficult. I'd like to find someone who is content with their life and would like to join lives to grow together and complement each other's lives. Nobody is perfect, and I am far from it, but I am someone who cares deeply and is willing to try. I think each person in a relationship fails in some way, and we have to give each other the courtesy of learning from mistakes.
