About Me
I am looking for companionship, for at home, for local activities, for travel, something serious and long term. Recently widowed, I have been having a tough time with losing my partner of 48 years, but at this time I am doing much better, thanks to all my many friends, my children, my business, and chores around the homestead. I am not someone that needs “fixing”, I’m doing fine, I won’t trouble you with this part of my past. I am looking ahead, and moving forward. I hope to have many more years on this beautiful Earth, and I want to one day again wake up each day with that special person next to me.
I am a young man in an older body :( I enjoy bicycling, motorcycling, hikes, short and long road trips in my hot rod, or my ’86 Bronco, or one of my other vehicles. I love the outdoors, especially mountains, water sports, winter sports. I never know what to do first, when I have the time (I am also a small business owner). Also enjoy eating out. Favs are huge pieces of beef, and pizza! Also do some of (now all) of my own cooking, especially outdoor cooking; brisket, pulled pork, grilling. Campfires in the backyard when the temps are good for it, and family andor friends are available to join me, though sometimes you will still find me around a fire late into the night by myself (with my Bluetooth speaker) if no one is available. Also working on ridding those extra pounds!!!
