Men and women are very equal in Mongolian society, though they have different, well-defined traditional roles. Men from this country are known for their manliness, but all together they are family oriented, tolerant, and more serious about dating than most Westerners.
Mongolia is a landlocked country in east-central Asia and is the most sparsely populated independent country in the world. The official language is Mongolian and the predominant religion is Tibetan Buddhism. The Culture of Mongolia has been heavily influenced by a long-practiced, nomadic way of life and by ancient religious beliefs. Most of Mongolia’s area is covered by steppe, with mountains to the north and west and the Gobi Desert to the south. The climate is hot in the summer and extremely cold in the winter.
