The Netherlands Antilles once was an autonomous Caribbean country within the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Recently the country was dissolved, and in 2010 Aruba became a separate state; Curaçao and Sint Maarten were reconstituted as new constituent countries with Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatius remaining as special municipalities within the Netherlands. The Population of over 300,000 is mostly of European and African descent. Origins of the population and the location of the islands gave the Netherlands Antilles a mixed culture. The Netherlands Antilles have a tropical climate, with warm weather (and women) all year round.
