Oman is a conservative society and its religion reflects this – Islam is the center of their culture and dictates almost every aspect of their lives. Omani men are friendly, hospitable, spontaneous, and surprisingly fun to be around. They are considered to be the happiest nation on the Gulf.
Oman, officially the Sultanate of Oman, is an Arab state on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Oman's official religion is Islam with Arabic as its official language. The Omani people are ethnically diverse with at least 12 different languages that are native to them. A vast desert plain covers most of central Oman, with mountain ranges along the north and southeastern coast. The climate is hot and dry in the interior and humid along the coast.
