The culture of Paraguay is highly influenced by various European countries, particularly Spain. All is blended with indigenous culture thus creating what is seen in the daily life of this melting pot of a country. Paraguayans are seen as conservative, warm, and happy people. They are not strictly ruled by clocks or deadlines and usually live stress-free lives that are quite a departure from the typical Western variety.
The Republic of Paraguay is a landlocked country in central South America. Its official languages are Spanish and Guarani and the majority of the population is Catholic. Paraguay has long been one of the region's most isolated countries and, due to its central location in South America, is sometimes referred to as the “Heart of America".
