Slovenian men are usually quite the romantics, being both polite and gallant. These are the types who rush to hold the door for a lady or to give up a seat so she can sit! They are honest, disciplined, and love poetry and, in general are voracious readers of literature. They enjoy culture and many children in this culture attend music schools so there is a good chance that your man will know how to serenade you with at least one instrument! They are educated and often speak at least one or two foreign languages, so they make really engaging companions. Together with the fact that family is at the center of the social structure in Slovenia, they are perfect partners for creating a family.
The Republic of Slovenia is located in southern central Europe at the crossroads of the major European cultural and trade routes. It is one of the youngest European countries, becoming an independent state in 1991 after the collapse of the Yugoslav federation. It is a member of the European Union and NATO. Most Slovenians are Roman Catholics and the official language of the country is Slovene. It is largely a mountainous republic with almost half of the land being forested with hilly plains spread across the central and eastern regions. It has a Mediterranean climate on the Adriatic coast and a continental climate with mild to hot summers and cold winters elsewhere.
